Over the past week I was up at my cousins house...we went to the poppy's because my aunt Tracy had a photoshoot with the cutest little girl, Riley. Me and Jess took her other camera (30d) to practice a bit, here's some of the ones I took.

this past sunday me, tina, the twins and emy and a friend of ours went on a hike in the nature center by our house, i never knew something so beautiful was only 4 and 53 seconds away from our house. (yes, we timed it) it had just finished rainy and was kinda cloudy out but it was a lot of fun..i took a couple pictures but here's just one that i edited a little bit..i cross processed it and sharpened it...it may be a little much but...whatever. its the reflection of the sky and the little branches over a puddle...

I've thought about adding a signature to my photos but i'm not sure yet. people have taken my pics before and put them up on different sites, and i think it would be good to have people know i took them...i've tried some different things...alyssa anne photography just doesn't sound right. here's an example

winter break 09-wrong picture

this is what i wrote...i finally decided that i needed to post something...and here i am trying to figure out where the heck do i start? this past month has been so incredibly busy that i can barely remember everything that has gone on. since my last post, i have been to Lake Arrowhead for a week with the fam, up to my cousins, and then on to Brianhead, Utah with them for their skiing trip-which was an absolute blast. and somewhere before all that four christmas parties and a ton of christmas shopping somehow fit in there too. it has gone by so fast. over the past couple of weeks i have been with my aunt, who is an amazing photographer, and going back to my own pictures is like coming back to california on fire after being in new zealand for two weeks. anyways, although i cant wait to get a new camera, i'll still be posting every once in awhile despite this being the second semester, which may get kinda crazy.

me and my friend Rachel decided we were bored. so.....we found a forest type place and took lots of pictures! my other friend Claudia also came along to show us where it was at, and took a couple of pics. these are just a couple of them....just playing around with my new photo program thing seeing what it can do. thanks rache, I had fun with you!

Morro Bay

New Zealand

At the end of May I was able to take an extremely long 12-hour plane flight all the way to New Zealand and be with my Dad and go to a conference that he was speaking at in Hastings. We stayed at the church that it was at until it was over, and then went down to Napier for a day, and then on to Keri Keri to spend some time with our relatives. I had so much fun and would definitely go again no matter how long the flight is....there were 52 movies on the plane....haha! I took over 400 pictures, but I picked out the best ones and put them on a tabblo. They are really pretty and some are even funny...... :)
